Rigs to Reefs Literature Review & Educational Materials

Blue Latitudes conducted a comprehensive global literature review of Rigs to Reefs programs, covering legal and regulatory frameworks, environmental considerations, and case studies to support VIGO Energy's engagement with regulators on a national decommissioning framework. To complement these findings, Blue Latitudes produced a public-facing brochure tailored to a general audience, incorporating Peru-specific data on offshore infrastructure, decommissioning timelines, and reefing methods alongside their environmental, economic, and social benefits. The brochure featured infographics, maps, key statistics, and images to promote awareness of Rigs to Reefs programs in Peru.
